POTQ FAQ
Q: What is a Qadishti anyway?
A: Practitioners of Sacred Sensuality and Erotic Spirituality. We do not seek to define ourselves at the Path of the Qadishti any deeper than that. As individuals, some of us view ourselves as Priestesses/Priests of Sacred Sexuality; some of us consider ourselves Erotic Healers, some of us Tantrics, some of us Sacred Harlots. We leave how you define you, up to you.
Q. Is there a single, unified path?
A: There are Qadishti temples in many locations in the United States, as well as people who identify as Qadishtu or simply incorporate Qadishti sensibilities or workings into their lives. This is merely one path of many.
Q: Are you part of that Temple of the Red Lotus? Or one of the other groups that self identifies as Qadishtu based?
A: Often, we are indirectly associated with those groups, in knowledge sharing, shared teachings, etc. Some of our participants are students or members of those groups as well. We continue to foster a relationship of mutual respect and assistance. But there is no hieratical relationship.
Q: Are your classes expensive? Why don’t you offer them for free? Where does the money go?
A: After seeing what many Tantra teachers charged us, we our doing everything we can to keep these classes low cost. Currently, we do not charge for classes (although we do accept donations for teachers)
Q: Do I need to meet in person?
A: Part of the training does include gathers. Gathers are important and needed for many of the lessons. For people who are not local to the location of the classes, we are working on how to make those gatherings happen on a case by case basis.
Q: Who started these classes up?
A: Information about us, what we do, our experience and background, can be found at this web page
