Ms Protocol event, come join us in Columbus OH

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Join us in Columbus, OH for an open facilitated discussion on Master slave protocol. After knocking out some basic terminology, we’ll talk about topics ranging from protocol within a Ms relationship; perspectives of Ms to Ms people and Ms House to Ms House; protocols regarding various Ms statuses (like “trained by” or “protective collar”), as well as protocol toward alt lifestyle (but not) Ms people (and vice versa).

We’ll also look at what to do with our mistakes, the “yoga principle”, and a variety of other Master slave protocol based topics. There will be plenty of room for participation and interactive activities.

Scarlet Sanctuary
The Scarlet Sanctuary is a space in which to soothe and rejuvenate
your energetic self. A safe and loving place to receive sacred touch from
people who wish to share of themselves in a sensual manner.

Sacred Touch in a BDSM setting can be beneficial in many ways. It can
be a respite between heavy scenes; a healing touch for deep emotions
that can emerge; an option for those more interested in sensual play or
simply a place to relax and breathe.

Open 12 Step Meeting
Dan, a recovering addict with over 20 years clean and sober, has run open 12 step recovery meetings at the local level as well as at large events such as Kinky Kollege and GLLA. We often find over 100+ years of combined time in one of the many 12 step based recovery programs!

Leather Sangha (Buddhism sitting group)
Dan leads a local sitting group in his home town and offers daily meditation and peer shared dharma studies for Buddhist and non-Buddhist.

non-denominational Sunday services
dawn is a leader in our local alternative religion community and has lead dozens and dozens of weddings, rites of passage, hand fastings, and other ceremonies. She offers to provide many of these services, as well as a traditional (non-religion specific) Sunday service. Learn more about role as Rev Dawn Earthsong here

New presentation – Sensual BDSM

Sensual BDSM

Want more from BDSM? Join Dan and dawn as they discuss bringing (or returning) a sense of connection, intimacy, and desire to your BDSM scene. They will discuss what we can do to take your BDSM experience deeper and to avoid getting stuck in BDSM being a purely physical or social experience. “We walked into the dungeon and heard people talking about politics and fishing; a top leaned down and whispered to his bottom about one brand of rope over another; another ‘top’ was holding court in the middle of the space, showing the newer players how awesome he was. We want much more form our scenes. We want a connection and intimacy that will be more than just a physical – swing, hit, swing, hit – scene”

Interesting proposal

Monday, January 26th, 2009

We recently got contacted to present for a group in MI. They would like us to present for there weekend event (Friday through Sunday) as the only presenters – wow! A total of 7 presentations over three days. That would be an interesting (and I have to admit, exciting) challenge.

December

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

dawn and I normally present about 12 times a year, traveling within Ohio to local groups as well as to national event around North America.

December though is  a  slow month for presenting, and we use it to do web site maintenance, review existing presentations, and write new ones.

Our very first presentation we did out of state (and one that stayed the most popular one for our first year) was Poly Pagan Bondage Slut

Poly Pagan Bondage Slut
Can you find spirituality through BDSM? Are sluts’ nice people? Can polyamory really work? Join Dan and dawn, a lifestyle couple and soul mates of many years, as they facilitate a free flowing and free thinking round table discussion on what its like to try to achieve balance in a spiritual and loving yet kinky and naughty relationship without boundaries. They will share their experience and insight as they help to generate a non judgmental, open discussion. Through active sharing, participants of the roundtable will express what they have found that works for them or what they might be seeking to achieve the balance between slut, lover, spiritualist and kinky.

Compensation

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

We currently believe that “you keep what you have by giving it away”.

With this in mind, we practice a fair amount of flexibility regarding charging for our classes or presentations. If you are a small, non-profit local support group, we are open to presenting without charge.  Other situation are addressed on a case by case basis, but our desire is to serve the community, not make money from it.

We do ask to be compensated for travel, lodging, and/or event fees, as applicable.
